Dr. Kim Drolet is a doctor of Chinese Medicine and Licensed Acupuncturist, specializing in herbal medicine with more that 10 years experience. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her patients. Dr. Drolet's passion lies in enhancing lives through natural medicines whenever possible, helping people feel better so they can enjoy their life to the fullest. After experiencing acupuncture in her late 30s, she flipped the script on her life and started a 6 year education journey at 40 years old, culminating with Masters and Doctoral degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. During those studies, Dr. Drolet had the honor of immersive studies in Chengdu, China, where she witnessed the full spectrum of Chinese Medicine, particularly the widespread use of herbs for almost any medical condition. In addition to treating herbal patients online, she has a thriving acupuncture and herbal practice at San Diego Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She served several years as teaching faculty and clinic supervisor at Pacific College of Health and Science. Having experienced significant health challenges herself, Dr. Drolet approaches each patient with empathy and a commitment to integrating traditional methods with modern understanding. During this 15 minute call, you will briefly discuss your health situation, and I can determine if you are a good candidate for herbal medicine, explain what treatment entails for a situation like yours, and answer basic questions you may have. I will give you my best recommendation of a Treatment Program option best for your situation/condition/severity, and costs associated. Herbal treatments can take time, commitment on your part, and oversight on my part, so I am looking for patients who are ready to commit to a process. I honestly do not want to waste your time or money. Each person and health condition is unique. I want you to understand the process and costs up front, and we will discuss this during the Discovery Call. Your Treatment Program begins with an in-depth Initial Comprehensive Consultation. Before this appointment, you are required to fill out an extensive health history and current health issues intake form. This appointment can last up to 45 minutes to discuss your situation in depth to allow you to tell your health story and goals, answer any questions, and ensure I can gather all the information I need. Following this appointment, you will be given a Diagnosis and Treatment Plan specific to your situation, with prescriptions for herbal therapies. Liifestyle guidance may also be included. You are on your way!

Embrace your daily herb taking practices, implement the steps in your Treatment Plan, and start feeling better soon! Depending on your situation, the phase of treatment, and the Treatment Program you are on, you can expect follow up appointments every 2 weeks, once a month, or every 3 months. As you and your symptoms change, so can your herbal formulas. We regularly meet, how often depends on your situation. I'm on your healthcare team and available to you.
